Nigeria Expanded Exports Program (NEEP)

The Nigeria Expanded Exports Program (NEEP) is a technical assistance program for Nigerian exporters funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The program aims to increase value-added non-oil exports from Nigeria, expanding trade with the United States, other international trading partners, and regionally within Sub-Saharan Africa. NEEP will provide demand-driven targeted technical assistance to export oriented enterprises in selected sectors. Technical assistance will be delivered in key areas such as access to finance, export competitiveness, and linkages to international markets and partners, resulting in measurable export increases.

The objectives of the program are to:

  1. Increase the value of exports of Nigerian goods;
  2. Increase access to trade finance for exporters; and
  3. Lay a foundation for future exports by initiating a holistic strategy for one value chain.

NEEP Buyer Alerts!

Buyer Alerts to inform of business opportunities

In order to ensure NEEP clients can profit from the regional and U.S. B2B programs, NEEP has launched a service referred to as “Buyer Alerts.” A buyer alert will be issued to NEEP clients when a buyer has made a specific request to our B2B consultants for an offer of goods. The information is assembled into a one-page Buyer Alert and disseminated by email to clients while also being posted on the NEEP website under Resources: nigeriaexport.org/buyer-alerts.

To ensure you are signed up to receive buyer alerts, please contact NEEP Project Coordinator Ms. Opeyemi Abebe at oabebe@nigeriaexport.org.
